I’m Jen Zielke, Client Advocate

Jen is a senior at Cal Poly majoring in Applied Nutrition and minoring in Ethnic Studies. Eventually, their goal is to become a Registered Dietitian and work with clients with eating and feeding disorders, particularly Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). They are a Certified Peer Educator certified by NASPA, and they are trained in Mental Health First Aid through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

Jen leads our cooking groups centered around building community centered and promoting a safe space for recovery. They firmly believe that all foods can fit in a healthy diet, especially cultural foods. In all their work, they advocate for cultural foods to be included and represented as part of a healthy diet.
