Combining years of experience, highly-developed intuition, and a deep level of understanding, our team helps people overcome eating disorders through personalized nutrition counseling.


Meet Marlena Tanner, RDN, CEDS-C

Marlena, passionate about recovery and helping others discover their inner potential, is the founder of The Yellow House Project. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Consultant (CEDS-C) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). With over sixteen years of experience in the field of eating disorder treatment, she spends much of her time educating and training others in the field. She is comfortable working with more complex presentations and trauma, and understands that eating disorders often coincide with other mental health challenges that deserve validation and care.


Meet Kelsey Umansky, RDN

Kelsey Umansky is an Anti-Diet, Registered Dietitian with the goal of helping others to unmask the diet culture that lives all around us, to reconnect with their body's interoceptive awareness, and cultivate a peaceful relationship with food.

 

Meet Justine Lowry,

MS, LPCC

Justine is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Her infectious energy, passion and compassion makes her a great addition to the TYHP team. Justine is used to offering social, emotional, and mental health counseling as well as  suicide safety assessments and referrals to outside services. She is apt at working closely with admin, parents, and teachers to facilitate a safe space for all. Justine enjoys doing presentations to educate people about mental health signs, symptoms, treatment options and community resources.


Meet Niki Wiley, Medical Billing

Niki is here to help you navigate your medical insurance coverage and payment. She understands it can be overwhelming and confusing, and she wants to help make it easier for you so you can focus on more important things, such as recovery!


Meet Cathy Vee, Recovery Coach

The Yellow House Project is lucky to work with Cathy Vee who comes from the Carolyn Costin Institute (CCI) and is ready to offer her services to our community.

Meet Briana Loudermilk, RDN

A mother to three little ones, is recovered as well and has been a dietitian for over eight years. Briana brings with her the kind of positivity and excitement that will continue to infuse my practice with hope and compassion.

 

Meet Arisahí (Ary) Crane,

MS, RD

Ary brings a vast background in dietetics, public health, and a genuine desire to help others on their journey towards recovery and self discovery. Ella habla español, también!

 

Meet Margarita Marin, Administrative Assistant

Our Administrative Assistant Margarita plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role at THYP. Her bilingual skills have helped us to further connect to our community. We appreciate her tenacity, poise, and direct communication skills between our RDNs and Drs. We are so grateful for all her meaningful work and dedication!

 

Meet Elizabeth von Klan, MS, RD, Social Media & Marketing

Elizabeth is a Registered Dietitian and previous dietetic intern (2022) at TYHP. She now lends a hand with managing our social media and website! 

Meet Amy Cresswell MOT, OTR/L

Amy is a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Grow Forward Occupational Therapy. In providing feeding therapy, she has helped each child with such concerns to gain or regain the trust, confidence, and skills to find greater comfort with textures, food, and participation in family and social mealtimes.

 

Meet Elizabeth Casparro, MPH, RDN

As a dietitian with over 15 years of experience in many areas of dietetics, Elizabeth can reliably provide you with the tools to succeed in your recovery journey. Ella habla español, también!

 

Meet Karen Graves, Peer Support

Karen has spent years as a caregiver to both people as well as furry friends. She continues to advocate for friends and acquaintances who had a hard time navigating the mental health system. It has been a passion of Karen’s to help others receive the help they need. Karen is offering free peer support for clients as well - learn more below!

 

Meet Jen Zielke, Client Advocate

Jen is a senior at Cal Poly majoring in Applied Nutrition and minoring in Ethnic Studies. Catch them at a future Fun Friday community event!
